The Outermost Inn (http://www.outermostinn.com) is a very "Vineyardy" dinner spot. It's located in Aquinnah, high-up on the Gay Head Cliffs. It's a nice place to eat, but you can also stay there.
The Offshore Ale House (http://www.offshoreale.com) in Oak Bluffs is a favorite for locals and visitors. It's a brewery and restaurant and has regular live music. Also very kid friendly.
The Newes from America (http://www.kelley-house.com/dining.asp) is a vintage, relaxed pub in The Kelley House in Edgartown.
Chescas (http://www.chescasmv.com) is a fancy (at least for Martha's Vineyard's relaxed atmosphere) italian restaurant in Edgartown.
